  Tina had a twin sister. Originally they were given first names in honor of both paternal and maternal grandmothers, Thuri and Thore. Tina's parents were Ole Poulsen b. 27 March 1825 at Bygland, Aust Agder, Norway, and Aase Olsdatter b. 25 July 1830, Bygland Aust Agder, Norway. They emigrated about 1861, with their oldest children, and went first to Dane County, Wisconsin, then to Manitowoc county Wisconsin. Tina had at least two brothers, Gunsten Paulson and John Paulson, who then were in Pine County, Minnesota. That is where Tina and Jacob Tollefson's daughter Addie Mae Tollefson was born. Gunsten Paulson is buried in Pine County, Minnesota. Not sure about Tina's parents. Norwegian records point to the fact that Tina's husband Jacob Tollefson was also her first cousin. Jacob's father was Tellef or Tallef Olsen, older brother of Tina's mother, Aase Olsdatter. Jacob immigrated about 1891, and they married in 1892, according to Wisconsin records.
